Preventing Spread of Livestock Diseases
- Employment of Veterinary Surgeon or Expert
- When the Commissioner receives a request to investigate, treat, or otherwise prevent the spread of an infectious or contagious disease affecting the livestock of a county, he shall employ a competent veterinary surgeon or expert to investigate the causes of the disease, to treat the same, and otherwise prevent its spread.
- The Commissioner is authorized to fix the compensation of the veterinary surgeon or expert.
