- Annual Meeting and Agreement Between County and City Representatives as to Services in Portion of City Within County
- Representatives of the governing authority of any county in this state which contains the smaller portion of the population of a city with a total population of 350,000 or more according to the United States decennial census of 1970 or any future such census shall meet annually, prior to January 1, with representatives of the governing authority of such city to develop an agreement between the governing authorities on the following matters:
- The services to be provided during the following calendar year by the county and by the city to the portion of the city that lies within the county; and
- The method of dispatching services during the following calendar year to the portion of the city that lies within the county.Agreement on this matter shall provide a uniform procedure for dispatching services and shall include an agreement as to all street addresses in such portion of the city.
- Any agreements developed pursuant to subsection (a) of this Code section shall be in writing.
- The first annual meeting required by this Code section shall be held prior to January 1, 1977.
