  1. The administrator of the center, with the approval of the board, is authorized to establish a security police force within the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
  2. While in the performance of their duties on property of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, such security police shall have the same law enforcement powers, including the power of arrest, as a law enforcement officer of the local government with police jurisdiction over such Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
