- Appointment and Removal of Executive Director
- There is created the position of executive director of the board. The executive director shall be both appointed and removed by the board. Subject to the general policy established by the board, the executive director shall:
- Plan, organize, direct, supervise, account for, and execute the administrative functions vested in the board; and
- Employ such clerical and other assistants as may be needed.
- All of the salaries and expenses of the board members, executive director, administrative law judges, and assistants of the board shall be audited and paid out of funds appropriated by the General Assembly as prescribed by law and in accordance with rules and regulations prescribed by the board.
