- Appointment of Director; Qualifications; Authority; Additional Personnel
- There is created the position of director of health strategy and coordination who shall be the chief administrative officer of the office. The Governor shall appoint the director who shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
- The director shall have such education, experience, and other qualifications as determined by the Governor.
- The director shall consult with the Governor on determining state priorities and adoption of a state strategy.
- The director may contract with other agencies, public and private, or persons as he or she deems necessary for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the office.
- The director may employ such other professional, technical, and clerical personnel as deemed necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
