This article shall not be construed to supersede or supplement the authority of the Office of Planning and Budget as set forth in Code Section 45-12-90.

§ 28-5-27 designed to prevent failure of appropriation. - Ga. L. 1967, p. 722, § 7 (see now O.C.G.A. § 28-5-27) is designed in part to prevent the failure of an appropriation, the expenditure of which is otherwise lawful, because of an improper designation of the spending agency. 1975 Op. Transfer of appropriation.

- A transfer of appropriations from the Art Commission to the Board of Regents so that the performing arts project may be produced for educational television under the auspices of the Center for Continuing Education of the University of Georgia. 1967 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 67-212.

Under authority granted by Ga. L. 1967, p. 722, § 7 (see now O.C.G.A. § 28-5-27), the Office of Planning and Budget may transfer an appropriation to any of the agencies of the state having comparable authority; those agencies may, in turn, pursuant to Ga. Const. 1945, Art. VII, Sec. VI, Para. I (see now Ga. Const. 1983, Art. IX, Sec. III, Para. I), contract with the Georgia Residential Finance Authority for services which are both within the scope of the authority of those agencies as well as within the scope of the powers of the Georgia Residential Finance Authority. 1975 Op.
