- Coverage for Employees With Eight or More Years of Creditable Service; Premiums
- Notwithstanding any other provisions of this subpart to the contrary, the board shall offer continuous coverage to any public school employee with eight or more years of creditable service who is not eligible to receive retirement benefits because of age. The public school employee shall pay both the employer and employee premiums for such insurance coverage.
- Notwithstanding any other provisions of this subpart to the contrary, any public school employee eligible to elect continuous coverage pursuant to subsection (a) of this Code section shall pay the employer and employee premiums for such coverage in monthly installments. The amount of the monthly premiums shall be equal to the rate of employer and employee contributions in effect during the existence of the coverage.
