Magistrates shall be subject to discipline, removal, and involuntary retirement by the Judicial Qualifications Commission in accordance with Article VI, Section VII, Paragraph VII of the Constitution.

JUDICIAL DECISIONS

Failure to complete training.

- Pursuant to subsection (c) of O.C.G.A. § 15-10-25, the Judicial Qualifications Commission's recommendation that a magistrate be removed from office for failure to complete satisfactorily the required training for the year was approved. In re Harper, 262 Ga. 335, 419 S.E.2d 21 (1992).
