  1. This chapter shall not supersede any other law applicable to financial institutions or other entities, and the other law controls if inconsistent with this chapter.
  2. This chapter shall not supersede the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970, 31 U.S.C. Section 5311, in effect on February 1, 2018, and the corresponding regulations thereto, in effect on February 1, 2018.

The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, substituted "February 1, 2018" for "February 1, 2017" twice in subsection (b).
