Within 180 days after March 6, 2018, the Mayor shall submit to the Council a plan for the implementation of a health literacy education curriculum that will complement adult literacy programs for District agency workforce development training programs in partnership with the Workforce Investment Council, the Department of Health Care Finance, the University of the District of Columbia, the Community College of the District of Columbia, the Youth Advisory Council, and the District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange.

Applicability

Section 7023 of D.C. Law 22-168 repealed section 7 of D.C. Law 22-66 amending the applicability restriction impacting this section. Therefore the creation of this section by D.C. Law 22-66 has been implemented.

Applicability of D.C. Law 22-66: § 7 of D.C. Law 22-66 provided that the creation of this section by § 6 of D.C. Law 22-66 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
