(a) For the purpose of assisting the Commission in developing standards for use in the administration of this chapter, there is hereby created the advisory committee on ambulance service. The advisory committee shall be composed of 8 members, whose names shall be submitted to the Commission by resolution of the following respective organizations:
(b) The committee shall provide technical assistance for the establishment of regulations for ambulance services and make recommendations to the Commission.
