Within available appropriations, the Commissioner of Housing may make grants to nonprofit housing assistance or nonprofit housing development organizations in order to support technical assistance planning, predevelopment, development, construction and management of housing developments. The commissioner may adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, to implement the provisions of this section.

History: June Sp. Sess. P.A. 07-4 effective July 1, 2007; pursuant to P.A. 13-234, reference to Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management was changed editorially by the Revisors to reference to Commissioner of Housing, effective June 19, 2013; P.A. 14-35 replaced “Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, in consultation with the Commissioner of Housing,” with “Commissioner of Housing” and made a conforming change, effective July 1, 2014.
