An alcohol or drug treatment facility, as defined in section 19a-490, shall use the criteria for admission developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine for purposes of assessing a person for admission to such facility in consideration of (1) the services for which the facility is licensed, and (2) the appropriate services required for treatment of such person.
