When any female with psychiatric disabilities is escorted to a state hospital for persons with psychiatric disabilities by a male guard, attendant or other employee of a correctional or reformatory institution, or by a male law enforcement officer, under the provisions of sections 17a-75 to 17a-83, inclusive, 17a-450 to 17a-484, inclusive, 17a-495 to 17a-528, inclusive, 17a-540 to 17a-550, inclusive, 17a-560 to 17a-575, inclusive, and 17a-615 to 17a-618, inclusive, the person so escorting her shall be accompanied by an adult member of her family or at least one woman.
