The department may administer the residential facility revolving loan program through (1) a purchase-of-service contract with any state-wide private nonprofit housing development corporation that is organized for the purpose of expanding independent living opportunities for persons with disabilities, or (2) a memorandum of understanding with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority established pursuant to section 8-244.

History: Sec. 19a-464g transferred to Sec. 17a-224 in 1991; P.A. 11-16 substituted “persons with disabilities” for “disabled persons”, effective May 24, 2011; P.A. 14-231 designated existing provision re purchase-of-service contract as Subdiv. (1), added Subdiv. (2) re memorandum of understanding and made a technical change, effective July 1, 2014.
