If any person, partnership, or corporation violates any of the provisions of sections 9-6-105 and 9-6-106, such person, the members of such partnership, or the officers or agents of such corporation are guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
