(1) Inspectors making internal inspections of boilers shall give the owner or user not less than five days' prior notice of the time when they will make such inspections.

  1. An inspector may, upon seeing conditions that, in the inspector's discretion, indicatethat there has been deterioration of any pressure-containing portion of a boiler or pressure vessel, assess the leak tightness capability of a boiler or pressure vessel by conducting a pressure test in accordance with the pressure testing considerations and guidance contained in the national board inspection code. The owner or user of the pressure-retaining boiler or pressure vessel shall provide any necessary labor and equipment required to apply the pressure test prescribed by the inspector.

  2. If at any time an inspector finds a boiler or pressure vessel which, according to theColorado boiler and pressure vessel code, is unsafe after inspection of same, he shall condemn and forbid its future use until satisfactory repairs are made or said boiler is replaced.
