(1) All fuel products included within classes I and II shall be inspected and the containers of such products marked by brand or stencil as provided in this part 2, and all fuel products shall comply with the specifications provided for in this part 2.

  1. Fuel products included in class III shall be subject to inspection.

  2. All transports and other tank trucks used to carry fuel products shall prominentlydisplay thereon, in letters at least three inches in height, the name and address of the owner or operator thereof. All such transport, tank, and delivery trucks shall also display prominently upon the rear of the tank the appropriate DOT placard for the product contained therein.

  3. At all filling stations, garages, stores, and all other places where fuel products aresold or offered for sale, there shall be displayed in a prominent place where it may be readily seen on each pump, the name, trade name, symbol, sign, or other distinguishing mark or device of such fuel product in type at least two inches in height. If such fuel product has no such name, trade name, symbol, sign, or other distinguishing mark, or device, then there shall be displayed the name and address of the person from whom such fuel product was purchased.
