(1) (a) It is unlawful for any person under twenty-one years of age to:

  1. Linger in the gaming area of a casino;

  2. Sit on a chair or be present at a gaming table, slot machine, or other area in whichgaming is conducted; or

  3. Participate, play, be allowed to play, place wagers, or collect winnings, whetherpersonally or through an agent, in or from any limited gaming game or slot machines.

  1. Subsections (1)(a)(I) and (1)(a)(II) of this section shall not apply to a person employed by the casino in which the person is present.

  2. Nothing in subsection (1)(a) of this section shall prevent any person under twentyone years of age from passing through a casino to nongaming areas.

  1. It is unlawful for any person to engage in limited gaming with, or to share proceedsfrom limited gaming with, any person under twenty-one years of age.

  2. (a) It is unlawful for any licensee to permit any person who is less than twenty-one years of age to:

  1. Linger in the gaming area of a casino;

  2. Sit on a chair or be present at a gaming table, slot machine, or other area in whichgaming is conducted; or

  3. Participate, play, place wagers, or collect winnings, whether personally or throughan agent, in or from any limited gaming game or slot machine.

  1. Subsections (3)(a)(I) and (3)(a)(II) of this section shall not apply to a person employed by the casino in which the person is present.

  2. Nothing in subsection (3)(a) of this section shall prevent any person under twentyone years of age from passing through a casino to nongaming areas.

  1. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.

  2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section with a person under eighteen years of age may also be proceeded against pursuant to section 18-6-701 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
