(1) The driver of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to any authorized vehicle or pedestrian engaged in work upon a highway within any highway construction or maintenance work area indicated by official traffic control devices.
The driver of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to any authorized service vehicleengaged in work upon a highway whenever such vehicle displays flashing lights meeting the requirements of section 42-4-214.
Any person who violates any provision of this section commits a class A trafficinfraction.
