Any person, whether acting in his own behalf or as agent, servant, officer, or employee of any firm, association, or corporation, who violates any provisions of sections 35-53-113 to 35-53-119 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than sixty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, except where otherwise provided in said sections.
