Any person removing or destroying any covering or fencing placed around or over any mine as provided for in section 3424-110, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than three hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
