Any person who represents that any medical service is reimbursable or subject to payment under this part 1 when he or she knows that it is not and any person who represents that he or she is eligible for assistance under this part 1 when he or she knows that he or she is not commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501, C.R.S.
