As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1) "Emergency medical condition" shall have the same meaning as provided in 42

U.S.C. sec. 1396b (v)(3).

  1. "Federal public benefits" shall have the same meaning as provided in 8 U.S.C. sec.1611.

  2. "State or local public benefits" shall have the same meaning as provided in 8 U.S.C.

sec. 1621.
