(1) An employee may resign by filing his reasons in writing with the appointing authority.
Qualified employees who have resigned in good standing may be reinstated underconditions which the board shall prescribe by rule.
The board shall by rule prescribe the conditions under which absence without leavewill be construed to be an automatic resignation.
