(1) The board, upon acceptance of an applicant who has demonstrated competence in professional engineering and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall license and issue a unique license number to the applicant.

  1. The board, upon acceptance of a qualified engineer-intern and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall enroll the applicant.

  2. A license may be issued at any time and is subject to the renewal, expiration, reinstatement, and delinquency fee provisions specified in section 12-20-202 (1) and (2).

  3. Any person whose license has expired shall be subject to the penalties provided inthis part 2 or section 12-20-202 (1).

  4. A professional engineer shall give notice to the board, in writing, of any change ofaddress within thirty days after the change.

(a) With respect to professional engineers:

  1. Renewal of a license;

  2. Replacement of a physical certificate of licensure, if requested by the licensee;

  3. Application for licensure pursuant to the occupational credential portability program;

  4. Application for the principles and practice of engineering examination;

  5. Issuance of a physical certificate of licensure, if requested by the licensee;(VI) Late renewal of a license;

  1. Reexamination for the principles and practice of engineering examination;

  2. Reinstatement of an expired license;(IX) Listing as a retired professional engineer; (b) With respect to engineer-interns:

  1. Application for the fundamentals of engineering examination;

  2. Reexamination for the fundamentals of engineering examination;

  3. Application for enrollment pursuant to the occupational credential portability program.
