(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, the Controller shall not offset delinquent accounts against the payment authorized pursuant to Section 8150 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.

(b) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2022, and as of that date is repealed.

(Added by Stats. 2021, Ch. 8, Sec. 2. (SB 88) Effective February 23, 2021. Repealed as of January 1, 2022, by its own provisions.)
