Section 45-29-231.40

THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE 2021 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2021. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT.

Upon successfully completing the minimum standards of training and other requirements for law enforcement officers of the Peace Officers' Standards and Training Commission, a community corrections officer employed by the Community Punishment and Corrections Authority of the 24th Judicial Circuit, operating in Fayette County, shall have the same law enforcement powers, including powers of arrest, as granted to law enforcement officers of this state.
